The Mudathon was sponsored by PGIM Real Estate and all proceeds raised went to Sands, The Brain Tumour Charity and The Cornhill Macmillan Centre.

BECK entered four teams for the event, with participants from across the company in Museums, Luxury, Lifestyle and Interiors.  They jumped at the chance to test their fitness levels and take on the epic physical challenge.

On a hot and sunny day, team members helped each other through 100 obstacles, including lakes, ropes, slides and lots of mud!  The fastest combined team time won the competition on the day.  Edward Kent, Archie Fox, Aaron Ronan, Steve Coles, Darren Corrigan from the Interiors team were the fastest BECK team to take part, completing the course in 1 hours and 38 minutes.

All BECK team members made it to the end of the challenge and congratulated each other afterwards, over a celebratory drink accompanied by live music and a DJ.

Vanessa Budd, Business Development Executive says: The Mudathon is always a fantastic day!  A great opportunity to challenge ourselves physically and work together as a team, whilst also raising money for some really worthwhile causes.”

Michael Walsh, Pre-Construction Director says: “It’s been such a great team event.  I really enjoyed the downtime and being away from the office with colleagues.  Plus, bumping into a number of others from different companies we work with.  I never thought I’d say this but given it was such a sunny day, I actually welcomed jumping into and clambering through the muddy waters throughout the course.”
