What we
care about

At BECK, we acknowledge the importance of our social, environmental and ethical conduct. We want our staff to be happy and our work culture to be positive and diverse. We constantly review our efforts with sustainability and the environment and are committed to giving back to the local communities we work within.

QUALITY & INTEGRITY GO HAND IN HAND

Staff Development

We want our staff to know their development and career paths are important to us. We recognise that training and development increases our employee’s confidence in their roles and ensures they feel appreciated as part of the BECK team.

We make sure all staff have the opportunity to progress within their individual role and also be eligible for promotion within the company as a whole. Our policy is to continually train and develop our staff whilst also providing the opportunity for them to work alongside the Board Directors, Project Directors and Site Management Teams, to maximise their experience and opportunities.

We also run a successful Apprenticeship Scheme to provide young people with a qualification in the construction industry. Every year our highly experienced joiners take on the role of a mentor for our apprentices and ensure their traditional crafting skills are passed down from generation to generation.

“I WANT OUR STAFF TO FEEL VALUED AND ALSO INSPIRED TO MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE. GIVING BACK AND CARING ABOUT OUR IMPACT ON THE WORLD AROUND US, IS PART OF THE FABRIC OF BECK. IT’S JUST AS IMPORTANT AS THE WORK WE DO.”
