BECK announces changes to the board.  Dan Herron moves into the role of Group Managing Director.  He takes over from the former incumbent, Chris Galloway, who moves to the position of Group CEO.

In 2016 Chris Galloway took over the running of the business as Group Managing Director alongside Group Board Director Mark Banham.  Since then, he has steered the company through a period of heavy internal investment, the Covid-19 pandemic and the complexities of an ever-evolving industry.

He now moves to the role of Group CEO, effective immediately.  Moving forward, Chris will support Dan and the other board members, whilst mentoring senior executives within the business.  He will work closely with new Group Finance Director Lynn Sheach overseeing the long-term strategy for the business and Director for Scotland, Corin Dougall, on the growth of BECK Scotland Ltd.

Dan Herron joined the business four years ago, to oversee the major refurbishment of The Carlton Tower Jumeriah.  He subsequently became Commercial Director before moving to his latest role of Group Managing Director.

Chris Galloway says: “Dan’s extensive experience and collaborative way of working have made him a real asset to the business, since joining BECK four years ago.  He has delivered complex projects successfully, overseen our growth strategy as Commercial Director and inspires trust in our clients.  Over the last year, Dan has taken on more of an operational role within the business and I have no doubt he will excel as Group Managing Director.”
