Posted on Thursday 19th May 2016

We are pleased to announce one of our projects, Lion Salt Works Museum won the 2016 Museums + Heritage Awards for Best Restoration project. The comedian Marcus Brigstoke announced the good news at the awards ceremony last night. Accepting the award on behalf of the project were the team from Cheshire West and Chester Council, Donald Insall Associates, RFA Design and BECK.

“The Museum faced stiff competition from organisations such as the National Trust, Lincoln Castle and Bodleian Libraries and I am very proud that the quality and excellence of the Lion Salt Works Museum’s restoration shone through and was acknowledged nationally with this award.” Said Councillor Louise Gittins, Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Wellbeing at Cheshire West and Chester Council.

Many congratulations to all who were involved in the project. To Cheshire West and Chester Council, and RFA Design, a huge thank you for your support throughout the project and your belief in BECK!
