NoMad London Topping Out

Posted on Friday 20th September 2019

We were delighted to host the client team at Bow Street Magistrates Court & Police Station, Covent Garden, to acknowledge this pivotal point in the construction of this iconic project.

One of the most famous magistrates’ courts in England, Bow Street is in the midst of being transformed into a luxury hotel and will become home to the first NoMad outside of the US. In keeping with the tradition and to commemorate the event, our joinery workshop crafted bespoke gavels from yew, symbolising the history of Bow Street as mementoes for our clients BTC UK and Sydell Group, presented by Edward Kent, Board Director, and BECK project lead.

Edward Kent said: “Since the beginning of the project in November 2018, a great partnership has been formed between the client team and BECK. This relationship is highly regarded and one that we will continue to cultivate in the coming years.”

Dream Team: BTS Group Holdings UK, Sydell Group, BECK, EPR Architects, Roman and Williams Buildings and Interiors, EMMAUS Consulting Limited, Hoare Lea, Elliott Wood Partnership Ltd, Scudder Demolition.
