COVID-19: Update from BECK

Following the Government guidelines on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in consultation with our clients and supply chain, it is with a heavy heart we confirm that on Tuesday 24th March, BECK took the decision to temporarily close all of our sites.

The health, wellbeing, and safety of our workforce, supply chain and clients, along with everyone associated with them takes precedence – we must take responsibility and do everything we can to prevent the spread of this virus.

To our clients who have responded with words of understanding, we truly thank you for your support as we ride this global crisis out together. When safe to do so, we will recommence our operations, and get back to what we love doing best – building exceptional projects for our clients!

Although our sites are on temporary lockdown, our office staff are all set up and working remotely (with a special thanks to our IT team); so BECK remains very much up and running and operating ‘business as usual’.  In times of uncertainty and disruption, we have little control over the situation but work has not stopped, if anything it’s teaching us a new way of working, communicating and how to embrace the technology available to us, keeping us all connected.  We are proud of our teams for how they’re adapting and keeping the wheels turning in preparation for a busy return onto our sites!
