Chris is our Chief Executive and joined the company in 1997. Originally from a joinery and design background, Chris has worked through all areas of the business, instilling communication, teamwork and leadership. Chris steers the Company and Sectors with a clear strategy, whilst continuing to be hands on with our Clients, and overseeing the operational and risk management side of the business. Chris actively promotes detail, quality and delivery whilst strengthening our long standing relationships, repeat business and valuable reputation.
Throughout Jonathan’s career, he has held a variety of senior financial roles with major international groups. Jonathan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and leads the financial and commercial teams of the organisation. Jonathan promotes and instils a solid base for our company and departmental systems and procedures, providing a stable platform for the business now and in the years to come.
Mark started his career at BECK over 20 years ago as apprentice joiner in the workshop and now leads the Museum sector of the business. The future development of the Museum sector is a cornerstone of our business strategy here in the UK and Internationally. Mark has a hands on approach with projects, identifying and cultivating opportunities through to the final delivery of his client’s vision. He directs a large in house team that brings a wealth of experience to clients and projects ensuring overall delivery is achieved to the highest quality.
Robert has been a Board Director within the construction industry for over 25 years, both as a Chief Executive, Financial and Commercial Director. Robert offers advice and supports the Board providing guidance as we continually develop and refine our valuable product and services. Robert ensures that our core values are embedded at all levels within our senior management.
Brian recently joined the Board, bringing 35 years of experience gained across all sectors of the construction and fit-out industry. Brian’s focus and passion for the Company is to be recognised as a professional and responsive contractor for our Clients, providing up front advice and accurate reporting, with certainty and consistency in everything we do. Brian is responsible for all commercial aspects from pre-to postconstruction within the Hotel and Leisure sectors, whilst the Company continues to deliver the many high-quality projects within the sectors’ portfolio.
Prior to joining BECK Edward developed his trade in the bespoke cabinetry and architectural joinery market. Over the last decade Edward has worked in various parts of the organisation including the design development and purchasing departments before honing his skills in project management. Edward’s current focus is in the Hotel and Leisure Sector and is currently responsible for delivering many of our high end major Hotel projects within our Portfolio.
Since joining BECK a decade ago, Dalbir has worked in many areas of the business through estimating, commercial and project management. Dalbir’s time at BECK has equipped him with the essential management and leadership skills to deliver major museum and interior projects both domestically and internationally to the highest quality. Dalbir’s role as Board Director focuses on BECK’s museum sector operations, resources and cultivation of the project teams.
Shaun has over 25 years’ experience within the industry, including the responsibility for many design and build projects. Shaun leads the Residential Sector of the business, from the enquiry stage through estimating, negotiation and successful delivery. He ensures the teams focus on the detail and in return delivering exceptional quality. Shaun is Client driven with the focus on delivering a luxury product for the end user.
Vanessa obtained a degree in Interior Design prior to joining BECK in 2005. Now working in business development, Vanessa previously spent 6 years as a Project and FF&E Coordinator across a broad range of projects, contributing in the of delivery of luxury hotels and high-end residential schemes. Vanessa has further developed her strong relationships with our Clients and now promotes BECK’s enviable reputation within the market place.
With a background in scientific research and business development, Carol established her career path in managing a London science centre. Carol joined BECK bringing an added breadth of business knowledge and refreshing energy to continue promoting and enhancing BECK’s defined brand. Carol actively promotes business development for the business focusing on both the domestic and international markets.
